Плоский приваривается к трубе внахлёст двумя швами и применяется до Ру25; воротниковый приваривается встык и держит более высокие давления и температуры.

D — наружный диаметр фланца, K — диаметр окружности расположения болтов, d — диаметр отверстия под болт, n — число отверстий, b — толщина фланца.
