The dimensions of the regulator are without manpads. The TR version adds about 4 kg. The installation of the SSV 8600 manpads adds from 4 to 10 kg, depending on the DN, SSV 8500 — from 2 to 7 kg.

Description

Purpose and application

The RB 4000 is designed for industrial use: gas supply networks, regional gas distribution stations, industrial enterprises, thermal power plants and any nodes where precise pressure control, simple adjustment and quick response to changes in inlet pressure or flow rate are required.

Structurally, it is a direct-acting spring regulator with an integrated safety locking device. The control pulse is a controlled outlet pressure, which is supplied under the elastic diaphragm of the actuator via an external pulse line (RBE version). The output pressure sensor is a spring, the force of which is selected during the design of the reduction unit and adjusted by tightening the nut.

The built-in pulsation damper ensures stable regulation even at very low flow rates. The SSV 8600 or SSV 8500 safety shut-off valve protects against overpressure at the outlet or operates in a combined protection mode against overpressure and overpressure; its settings are adjusted independently of the setpoint of the regulator itself.
