FAQ

How is a ball valve better than a gate valve?
The valve opens and closes by turning the lever by only 90°, whereas the gate valve needs several full revolutions of the flywheel. At the same time, the crane is noticeably lighter and more compact in height, which simplifies installation and maintenance, and valve repair costs more on average.
Why does a larger valve have a lower nominal pressure?
This is a common practice among most manufacturers: as the nominal bore increases, the loads on the housing and seals also increase, so the range often gradually lowers the control unit for large remote controls instead of making the entire series heavier and more expensive.
Can a ball valve be used to adjust the flow?
Not recommended — the faucet is designed for "fully open" / "fully closed" positions. In the intermediate position, the flow erosively wears out the ball and the saddle. Other types of valves are used for regulation.
