Wires and lightning protection cables are maintained at the required level between the anchor sections. The most widespread type of supports: there are more of them on straight sections of the highway than all the others combined.

The tower weight and dimensions are confirmed when the detail drawings are issued for the wind and ice region of the site.
The intermediate support is not designed for the high weight of the wires: it accepts the vertical load from their weight, ice and wind pressure, but not the one-sided tension. Due to this, the construction is lighter and cheaper than an anchor-angle one, and on a long track this is a decisive cost factor.
They are indicated by the letters P and PS, followed by the voltage class. The PS is an intermediate free—standing one. The letter "T" in the stamp indicates a rope with two cables, the number after the hyphen shows the number of chains: odd — single chain, even — double chain.

The intermediate one only accepts the weight of the wires and the wind load, while the anchor one also accepts full one—sided gravity. Therefore, the anchor line is heavier and more expensive, and the intermediate one is placed where the highway runs straight. You can't replace one with the other: these are different calculation schemes.
It depends on the stress class, terrain, and estimated span. These are usually several supports per kilometer, and the exact number is taken from the route design. To calculate the delivery, it is enough to send a list of supports from the project.
