It is installed inside the tank on the intake and transfer pipe - it extinguishes the oil product jet when filling, erodes bottom sediments and increases the useful volume by reducing the minimum filling level.
The PRU is mounted at the end of the spout pipe in the lower belt of the tank and is used for receiving and pumping oil and petroleum products. When filling, the product passes through the device and spreads over the bottom in a flooded stream — due to this, the bottom sediment is washed away, the gap between the liquid and the bottom is reduced, and pumping can be carried out to a lower level.
It consists of a branch pipe, an umbrella, a divider, a rotary flap and a manual or electromechanical drive. The gate can be located inside the tank or outside — the external location frees up the floating roof (drops below 1500 mm). At the request of the customer — with one outlet in the center of the tank or with two, on the periphery, for uniform erosion over the entire area of the bottom.
