A device with a rotary flap for pumping and pumping out petroleum products. It is used instead of a firecracker, it erodes the bottom sediment during injection and reduces the level of minimum rise.
PRU replaces the firecracker and does more than she does. When filling, the product passes through the device and spreads over the bottom in a flooded stream, simultaneously washing away the bottom sediment. The gap between the umbrella and the bottom is made minimal, so when pumping, the minimum level of rise is lower, and the useful capacity of the tank is greater.
The rotary flap is open — the product flows freely or is pumped out, closed — the passage is blocked. The device also insures against leakage through leaks in the intake and transfer pipeline and in the tank valve when it is closed. The flap control mechanism is located outside, in front of the intake and transfer pipe: thanks to this, the pontoon or floating roof can drop below the 1,500 mm mark.
