Samplers

The PSRT Sampler

Stationary three-level sampler of reduced design for spot samples from three set heights. There are versions for a pontoon, double-walled tanks and high-viscosity products.

The PSRT Sampler
Description

Purpose and design

The PSRT takes point samples from three preset heights — upper, middle and lower. This is not an averaging over the entire volume, as with the AKP, but three independent slices that show the product stratification, the presence of water at the bottom, and the uniformity of the batch.

Reduced performance: the lines are brought to the service area, and the operator takes a sample from below without going up to the roof. ПСРПТ-1 is available for tanks with a pontoon — in variants for steel, aluminum and block pontoons. The ПСРТ-1Д version is intended for double—walled tanks, and for highly viscous products - ПСРТ-1ТК with a thermal chamber that prevents the sample from thickening on the way to the drain point.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How does the PSRT differ from the PSR when choosing?
The PSR gives a combined sample over the entire height of the filling — a characteristic of the entire volume. The PSRT takes three point samples from the specified heights, which show the stratification and the presence of water below.
What does "reduced performance" mean?
The sampling lines are brought down to the service area. The operator takes the sample on the ground and does not climb to the roof of the tank.
What kind of design is needed for a tank with a pontoon?
ПСРПТ-1. It is available in steel, aluminum and block pontoon versions — please specify your type.
What does the thermal camera do at ПСРТ-1ТК?
It maintains the temperature of the sample on the way to the drain point so that the highly viscous product does not thicken and the sample remains representative.
