A block-type PB pontoon is assembled from sealed floating blocks (modules) forming a continuous floating coating on the surface of the product. The block design ensures high buoyancy and survivability — when a separate block is depressurized, the pontoon remains operational — and simplifies installation inside the tank. Reduces evaporation losses by 95-98% and increases fire safety.
It is used for light and dark oil products, petrochemical raw materials, fuel oil. It is made of aluminum alloys or stainless steel (for sulphurous oil). It is mounted inside the operating tank through a manhole; along the perimeter there is a sealing gate to the wall. The warranty is 18 months.
