A skylight for ventilation and illumination of the tank during degassing and interior work. It is installed on the roof, the lid is bolted.
The skylight is designed for ventilation and natural illumination of the interior of the tank in preparation for repair, degassing and cleaning. It is usually installed on the roof opposite the manhole, providing through ventilation. The cover on the paronite gasket is bolted around the perimeter of the flange.
The standard nominal bore is DN 500. It is equipped with a rotary device for convenient opening of the lid. Fasteners — bolts with nuts and washers according to ГОСТ, seal — paronite, material — steel. When installed on an existing tank, a reinforcing pad is used.
