Manhole for personnel access inside the tank during inspection, cleaning and repair. Round and oval versions, mounted on the lower belt of the tank wall.
The manhole provides passage for a person inside the tank and installation/ dismantling of equipment. It consists of a pipe with a flange welded to the wall and a plug cap on a paronite gasket tightened with bolts. To facilitate opening, the lid is equipped with a rotating device; when installed on an existing tank, a reinforcing pad is used.
The round version is available with a nominal passage of DN 500 and DN 600, the oval version with standard dimensions according to the project. Fasteners — bolts М20/М24 with nuts and washers ГОСТ each; seal — paronite. Control hole М10×1,5 for leak testing. The material is steel.
