A combined mechanical breathing valve with a built-in fire barrier for regulating pressure and vacuum in the gas space of tanks with oil and petroleum products. Reduces the loss of light fractions from "large" and "small" breaths and protects the body from deformation.

Description

Purpose and design

The SMDK valve is installed on the mounting pipe on the roof of the vertical tank (RVS) and operates automatically. Two pressure and vacuum plates with weights are placed in the cast aluminum housing: when the pressure increases, the pressure valve opens and releases the vapor—air mixture to the outside, when the vacuum valve opens and lets air into the tank. The passageways are covered with a removable mesh and a fire barrier cassette that prevents flames and sparks from entering.

The valve is available in standard sizes DN 50-250 (СМДК-50...-250, including version AA). The pressure and vacuum response settings and throughput are adjusted to match the tank volume and filling/draining capacity. Climatic version U/UHL, operating temperature -60...+40 °C. It is supplied with a passport and certificates.
