Description

Purpose and design

The control mechanism is used to remotely open and close the cracker from the roof or wall of the tank. Through a cable (rod), a drum and a flywheel, the operator lifts the lid of the firecracker and fixes it in the open position, and if necessary, gently lowers it without entering the tank.

The side version МУ-1 is used with pipes DN 80-250, МУ-2 — DN 400-600; the upper version of the MUv is mounted on the roof. The body, drum and cable are made of steel; the structure is designed for long—term operation as part of tank equipment.
