СКУ.PPM is a bellows compensation device in a steel protective casing for pipelines with industrial foam-mineral (PPM) thermal insulation. The design is similar to type M: a thick-walled casing and integrated guide supports ensure alignment of the bellows and protection against transverse loads.
Steel sleeves are welded to the support flanges for the outer diameter of the PPM insulation of the pipeline; the space between the sleeve and the casing is filled with stuffing box. It is used for all laying methods, including ductless. Two-shaft version (2СКУ.ППМ) — for increased axial stroke.
