The rubber expansion joint EPDM DN 50 is a flanged vibration insert for pipelines of water and non—aggressive media. The elastic sphere made of EPDM reinforced with textile cord dampens vibration and noise from pumps and equipment, compensates for axial, shear and angular movements, reduces the load during water impact and temperature deformations.
For this standard size: flange with an outer diameter of 160 mm, hole circumference diameter of 125 mm, flange thickness of 16 mm, face length of 105 mm. Permissible movements are axial compression up to 8 mm, stretching up to 6 mm, lateral displacement up to 8 mm, bending angle up to 15°. Flanges made of 20 steel; on request — 09Г2С or stainless 12Х18Н10Т.
