How is NBR better than EPDM for petroleum products?
NBR is resistant to oils, gasoline, and most hydrocarbons, whereas EPDM quickly swells and loses its tightness in contact with petroleum products. NBR is needed for fuel and oils.
Is it possible to use a NBR shutter on water?
Technically possible, but NBR less resistant to ozone and atmospheric influences during long—term outdoor operation - it is usually more profitable for pure water systems EPDM.
What is the maximum temperature for NBR sealing?
As a rule, up to +0°C — check with the specific model, as the parameters may vary depending on the manufacturer.
