Is it possible to put the EPDM shutter on hot water?

Yes, EPDM can withstand temperatures up to +120–130°C depending on pressure — suitable for most heating systems and ГВС.

How does the wafer connection differ from the flange connection?

The wafer gate is clamped between two pipe flanges with clamping pins - it is more compact and cheaper than the full—flange version, but it is not suitable for all pressure classes.
