Frequently asked questions

FAQ

How reliable is a cast iron valve compared to a steel one?
For standard conditions (water, steam up to 0), cast—iron valves are quite reliable and last a long time - their limitation is only in maximum pressure and temperature, and not in overall reliability.
Is a cast iron valve suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes, but at subzero temperatures, it is important that the environment inside does not freeze — cast iron is more brittle than steel and can crack when water freezes in a closed valve.
Is there a restriction on the mounting position?
Most cast—iron valves can be mounted in any position, but a vertical one is more convenient for the flywheel - check with the specific model if there is not enough space.

We will select and install cast iron valves for your parameters (model, DN, PN, material) with all the documents.

Send a questionnaire or an enquiry and we will promptly prepare an offer with prices and lead times.
