Why do you need a control cabinet if the electric drive already has buttons on the body?
The buttons on the drive housing only provide local control next to the valve itself. The control cabinet adds remote control, status indication at the control room, alarm system and the possibility of integration into the general automation system of the facility (automated process control system).
Is it possible to control multiple drives in one cabinet?
It depends on the model and configuration — there are cabinets for one drive and multi-channel options for controlling a group of electric drives from one point, for example, on a node of several valves.
Is the cabinet suitable for a specific model of electric drive?
Yes, the control cabinet is equipped with electrical parameters (power, voltage, current) and the communication protocol of a specific line of electric drives — when ordering, you need to specify the drive model with which it will work.
